Ericka Adakai

Director, Educational Partnerships & Programs/Dual Enrollment

Ms. Ericka Adakai has many years of experience in Higher Education with a background in new student orientations, Admissions & Records, special programs, human resources, administrative support, and leadership. She received her A.A. in Letters, Arts, & Sciences from Antelope Valley College, B.S. in Human Services from CSUF, and M.S. in Higher Education Leadership from CSUF.

Selene Estudillo

Administrative Assistant, Educational Partnerships & Programs/Dual Enrollment

Selene Estudillo received her B.A. in Business Administrative with a concentration in Human Resources from California State University, Fullerton. She is a Fullerton College Alumni, having received her A.A. in Business Management. Her previous roles include financial aid records assistance for CSUF and data management/analysis for a marketing firm. Upon graduating from Fullerton College, she vowed to return as an employee to be a part of the support system that changed the trajectory of her life.

Counselor, Teacher Pathway Program

Peggy has been working in the community college setting for the last 7 years. She has experience working as a Program Coordinator, Adjunct ESL Counselor, Adjunct EOPS Counselor, and Anaheim Pledge Counselor, and Teacher Pathway Program Counselor at Fullerton and Santa Ana Colleges. Peggy is inspired by her students and honored to support them on their unique educational journeys.

Mayra Frias

Counselor, Teacher Pathway Program

Mayra received her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Mathematics from Cal Poly Pomona and a M.S. in College Counseling and Student Development from Azusa Pacific University. She has two children, a three-year old daughter, and a one-year-old son. Mayra has been working in the community college setting for the last 6 years, between Citrus College, Orange Coast College, and Fullerton College. She has experience working as a PUENTE Program Coordinator/Counselor, General Counselor, STEM Counselor, Anaheim Pledge Counselor, and now Teacher Pathway Program Counselor. Mayra finds happiness in guiding students in their educational goals and seeing them reach their fullest potential.

Laurel Laughlin

Clerical Support, Teacher Pathway Program

Laurel has been a Fullerton resident for 25 years and is an alumna of Fullerton College. She formerly worked as an administrative assistant in the Business and CIS Division and the CDES Department Lab School, provided front desk customer service and clerical support in the Grants, Economic & Workforce Development Department, and now, in her most recent assignment at FC, she feels fortunate to have landed at the Office of Educational Partnerships & Programs.

Simren is a Fullerton College Teacher Pathway alumna. She is in her third year of college at CSUF. She has always had a passion for teaching that grew into an interest in fostering student sucess.

Catalina Martinez Hernandez Meet Our Team Photo

Catalina Martinez Hernandez

College Liaison, Teacher Pathway Program

Catalina is a Fullerton College alumna and during her time at Fullerton College, she was a student assistant for the Counseling Center. She is currently completing her bachelor’s degree in Chemistry at Cal State Dominguez Hills. She formerly worked as a peer counselor for the Financial Aid & Scholarships Office at Cal State Dominguez Hills.

Catalina is knowledgeable of both the California Community College and the California State University system. She enjoys helping our diverse student populations, especially the Teacher Pathway Program students.

Mayra Rodriguez

Peer Mentor, Teacher Pathway Program

Mayra is in her second year at Fullerton College and the Teacher Pathway Program. She is currently majoring in IDS: Arts and Human Expression. Her goal is to become a mild/moderate Special Education teacher.
