Promise Career Pathways
Welcome to the Fullerton College Office of Educational Partnerships and Programs. Our office provides leadership and support to Fullerton College’s Dual Enrollment and Educational Consulting Agreement efforts, Title V Promise Career Pathways grant, Teacher Pathway Program, Administration of Justice Pathway Program, and other pathway or educational partnerships of the college.
Fullerton College is a proud recipient of a Title V Developing Hispanic Serving Institutions Grant from the United States Department of Education known as Promise Career Pathways (PR/Award Number P031S180005). Designed to improve student success outcomes, through expanding dual enrollment, pathway efforts, and faculty professional development it aims to accelerate time and rate of completion for degrees, certificates, and transfers.
The Educational Partnerships and Program Office manages and provides fiscal oversight to our Title V Promise Career Pathways grant. In addition, collaborates with a variety of programs across campus to carry out grant components.
Promise Career Pathways Major Components
COMPONENT ONE
Establish Robust Dual Enrollment & Targeted Pathways Program
- Enhance program activities with wrap-around services provided by College Liaisons, Peer Mentors, Case Managers and Embedded Tutors.
- Enhance and expand our targeted pathways in STEM, CTE, Administration of Justice, and Teacher Education.
COMPONENT TWO
Strengthen Institutional Support for Faculty Professional Development
- Develop Faculty Inquiry Groups in targeted pathway programs.
- Encourage a focus on Universal Design.
COMPONENT THREE
Get Students Across Finish Line to Associate Degree & Enhance Articulation Agreements
- Enhance Transfer Pathway campaign.
- Enhance Degree Campaign efforts.
